Based in Aotearoa, New Zealand, Georgia Spence is a Fine Artist and Children’s Book Illustrator whose artistic journey began at a young age. With a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree focusing on Painting, Illustration and Art Theory, complemented by a three-year certificate in Photography centred on nature and environmental issues, Georgia brings a rich tapestry of skills to her work.

 

Specialising in Fine Arts, Design, and Illustration, Georgia offers a range of services, including bespoke book illustrations, poems, canvas art, layout and concept design, as well as educational resource design for schools and private institutions that combines both visual and written elements. Her creative interpersonal skills enable her to seamlessly collaborate with authors, book publishers, and private clients, ensuring that each project resonates deeply with its intended audience.

 

Georgia's artistic endeavours are driven by her profound connection to nature, which inspires her to create handcrafted artworks—be it portraits, scenery, or abstract designs. She has a unique ability to translate our unconscious experiences into captivating pieces, using colour and form to tell rich stories. With experience working with clients from New Zealand to Australia, the UK, and Europe, Georgia's work transcends geographical boundaries, attracting a global clientele.
